I’m new to Morpheus8; how does it work?

Morpheus8 works by gently introducing radiofrequency technology to lightly heat the facial skin after micro-lesions are introduced to assist in resurfacing and restoring connective tissues. When the heating temperature reaches 42 to 43 degrees celsius, collagen, which is the primary structural protein in connective tissues, slowly starts to break down.

After six weeks, the collagen which was broken down during the Morpheus8 treatment starts to form again and regenerate. This time the connective tissues will be stronger and firmer. This way, the facelift succeeds while adding volume to the hollow areas, as well.

What can I expect during treatments?

Morpheus8 combines radiofrequency technology with microneedling, and fractional treatments. During your session, the needles of the device’s handpiece will penetrate your skin and heat the underlying tissue, stimulating collagen production. What makes this treatment different from other needling treatments is the depth of penetration. Morpheus8 is the only treatment that can mold fat under the skin to obtain optimal results. The length of the treatment with this device depends on your specific needs, but most sessions take about 20-60 minutes.
