Happy September! Who’s ready for fall?! We’re certainly ready for some cooler temperatures and wouldn’t mind some Pumpkin Spice anything at this point!
Before we tell you what the September specials are, we want to reiterate what services are available right now with the state mandates affecting salons, spas, and personal services providers.
To be clear, we are a medical practice and are currently operating providing medical-based cosmetic services. This means we are able to provide medical-grade facials, injectables, peels, laser hair removal, IPL, and Fractional Laser therapies. We are not able to offer waxing, regular non-medical facials, microblading, and permanent make-up services.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are committed to adherence to the state and county mandates and will resume those services as soon as the mandates are lifted. Believe us when we say we can’t wait for that day either!
With that in mind, we are happy to offer the following medical-grade facial specials for September!
HydraFacial
We brought HydraFacial to Abbracci last fall and it remains one of our most popular medical facials. HydraFacial is a four-step process that includes cleansing, exfoliating, extractions, and hydrating the skin with serums that are infused into the skin with a pen-like device. It removes debris from the pores with a painless suction that also nourishes with intense moisture and saturates the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides that will seriously make you glow.
What we love about HydraFacial is that it is beneficial to almost every skin condition and can improve your skin in so many ways.
Benefits include:
- Hydrating dry, dull skin
- Brightening sallow complexions
- Plumping aging skin due to volume loss
- Helping clear acne
- Reduces fine lines & wrinkles
- Evens skin tone, texture, and brown spots
- Reduces enlarged pores
Brown Spots
Oily Congested Skin
Fine Lines
For the best results, HydraFacial should be repeated every six weeks. It’s also a great treatment to combine with other procedures such as Botox (note: if you do combine HydraFacial with Botox on the same day, be sure to schedule your HydraFacial first as you will not be able to lay down after the Botox injections).
This month, we are offering HydraFacial Basic at $179 (reg. $199) and HydraFacial Deluxe at $330 (reg. $350). HydraFacial deluxe includes the Basic service as well as an eye & lip hydrating treatment, facial lymphatic drainage, and neck massage. It is 1-½ hours long (the Basic HydraFacial is 1 hour).
OxyGeneo
OxyGeneo is another medical-grade facial that combines exfoliation, infusion, and oxygenation as a 3-in-1 treatment with amazing anti-aging results. It’s similar to an Oxygen Facial but treats the skin on a deeper level.
The treatment is delivered via a handpiece that first exfoliates the skin in a manner similar to microdermabrasion, removing dead cells to smooth and renew the skin. This helps prepare it for the active nutrients in the second phase, infusion. The same handpiece then delivers an active nutrient-rich gel that either rejuvenates or brightens & improves texture, depending on your targeted goals.
Benefits of OxyGeneo include:
- Plumping the skin & hydration
- Youthful glow
- Restores loss of volume
- Increases collagen & skin cell production
- Reduces hyperpigmentation
- Reduces the appearance of wrinkles
- Safe for all skin types
This month we are offering the OxyGeneo Facial for $199 (reg. $225). A series of treatments 6-8 weeks apart will enhance the results for those with deeper lines, hyperpigmentation, and other concerns.
What’s the difference between HydraFacial & OxyGeneo?
Both HydraFacial & OxyGeneo facials are a form of microdermabrasion, which helps to improve the skin cells by mechanical abrasion, accompanied by the application of topical serums.
The HydraFacial machine uses a liquid with a flushing motion to exfoliate and infuse the skin. There are four steps and each one utilizes a different device tip that uses water, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid during the process to remove debris embedded in the pores. The final step infuses the skin with a serum that is chosen to address your particular skin concerns.
The OxyGeneo facial utilizes technology that works by providing three facial treatments at once – oxygenation, exfoliation, and infused facial rejuvenation with essential nutrients. The treatment generates an abundance of CO2 bubbles that permeate the upper skin layer to trigger a physiological response known as the Bohr Effect. During the Bohr Effect, the body sends O2-rich blood to the skin to replace the CO2. This results in optimal skin oxygenation and increased cellular activity. The OxyGeneo treatment is especially results-oriented for mature skin.
Which is better for you?
That will depend on what result you are looking for and your particular personal complexion concerns. We are always happy to discuss your goals to help you decide which treatment is best for you.
Product Spotlight
This month is all about moisture and the best topical treatment to help your skin absorb and hold in that moisture is topical B5 gel.
Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid, is a powerful antioxidant that protects and assists in wound repair and collagen production. When used daily, B5 gel will plump the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
We have potent B5 gels at Abbracci Medical Spa, SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel (reg. $83) and LaRoche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum (reg. $29.50). This month, we are offering 15% off these two products.
