BOTOX

Everyone’s favorite neurotoxin is back on special! This month, Botox is $9/unit with a minimum of 35 units.

A frequent question we get is why do we have a minimum unit requirement?

Many people are unclear on just how many units are necessary to achieve the look they want. The common areas Botox is used on are the forehead, the crow’s feet (wrinkles around the eyes), and the frown area (between the eyebrows).

We go by Allergan’s suggested dosage, which is generally 4 units into each of 5 sites in the Glabellar Lines (between the eyebrows), so that’s 20 units right there; 4 units into each of 3 sites per side for the Lateral Canthal Lines (crow’s feet) (6 total injection points) for a total of 24 units. For the forehead area, 4 units are used in each of 5 forehead sites (20 units) and 4 units into each of 5 Glabellar lines sites (20 units) for a total of 40 units. Please remember, individual placement and units used vary by patient, but this is a very typical scenario.
