Dysport + Restylane Kysse

Dysport, similar to Botox, is a neurotoxin that can soften frown, forehead, and smile lines by injecting it directly into the targeted facial areas. The amount of Dysport that is used will depend on the degree of the area being addressed.

The results can typically be seen within a couple of days, with the full effect appearing after a week or two. Treatment is known to last several months and we recommend touch-ups every 3-4 months, which allows positive results before the effects of the previous injection fade.

 What’s the difference between the fillers in the Restylane family?

Restylane is a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid that is specifically made to mimic your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid and helps to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including nasolabial folds (the lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth) and marionette lines (the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward your chin). Restylane is also used to enhance the lip area for fullness and definition, as well as under the eyes in the tear trough area. Restylane is priced at $495 per syringe.

Restylane Refyne is a dermal filler that offers a subtle enhancement for lines and wrinkles around the mouth. This formula is a little thicker than Restylane Defyne, which treats mild-to-moderate marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Restylane Refyne is priced at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Defyne is a dermal filler that is used to address deep smile and laugh lines, specifically the marionette lines and nasolabial folds. Restylane Defyne uses hyaluronic acid, which is a natural ingredient to plump these areas. Restylane Defyne is priced at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Lyft is a dermal filler that is used to restore lost volume and fullness to the mid and lower part of the face, specifically the cheek area, while also smoothing out smile lines in the nasolabial folds. Restylane Lyft also uses hyaluronic acid in a clear gel that is cross-linked to delay the breakdown by skin enzymes, which gives you a longer-lasting result. Restylane Lyft is priced at $695 per syringe.

Restylane Kysse is a new dermal filler in the Restylane family of fillers that is specifically designed to increase the fullness and volume of your lips, while also eliminating the lines and wrinkles around your mouth (perioral wrinkles). It’s made with a new cross-linking formula called XpresHAn that allows the hyaluronic acid to bind to itself, allowing the filler to stretch and constrict with your facial movements. Restylane Kysse is $695 per syringe.

Intense Pulsed Light

We always like to offer an IPL special when the weather starts to cool and we aren’t spending as much time outside in the sun. If you haven’t tried IPL, this is the time. It’s very similar to other laser treatments, such as laser hair removal, in that they both use light and heat to destroy the target. In this case, it’s hyperpigmentation, coarse skin, spider veins, redness, and fine lines. This procedure is also great for treating rosacea.

Depending on the area, the process takes 30-60 minutes. The laser uses pulses of light to penetrate the skin deeply, which causes collagen and blood vessels just below the skin to constrict, which in turn reduces redness and age lines.

There can be some redness and swelling immediately following the procedure, and areas of hyperpigmentation, age spots and sun damage will appear to come to the surface before they naturally slough off. Following the treatment, you will need to stay out of the sun and use sunscreen (but you use sunscreen every day, right?). After 7-10 days, you should notice a visible improvement in the texture, firmness of your skin, as well as increased volume. These treatments are performed by a registered nurse or nurse practitioner on our staff.

IPL + Cynosure

The Cynosure Fraxel Laser treatment is a non-invasive laser treatment that smooths the skin and reduces unwanted signs of aging, including wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, acne scars, and stretch marks, with minimal downtime.

This laser treatment uses light energy heat to refresh the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production, which plumps up deep wrinkles and fades scars.

Fraxel Laser technology can be used for:

• Wrinkles around the mouth
• Frown lines
• Vertical lip lines

With the addition of the IPL, you can expect some peppering of skin in the days following, but this can usually be camouflaged easily with concealer (and your mask!).

The Perfect Derma Peel addresses hyper-pigmentation, as well as acne, melasma, revitalizes aging skin as well as plumping up fine lines and wrinkles.
